Symposium Banquet

SPICA 2012 Symposium Banquet

The Symposium Banquet will be organised on the evening of October 2, 2012, at the ‘Anciennes Ecuries Royales’ (the former Royal Stables) of the Belgian Royal Academies for Sciences, Letters and Fine-Arts.

The Palace of the Royal Academies has been built in honour of Prince Guillaume d’Orange, after the Waterloo battle. The project was started in 1815 and the construction finished in 1828. The Royal Stables occupy the southern part of the garden and are an annex to the Royal residence. Since 1962 the building has become the location of the Belgian Royal Academies and has been completely renovated during the 90’s, respecting the historical aspect of the building and combining it with a touch of modernity.

The Palace of the Royal Academies is situated at walking distance of the SQUARE, close to the Royal Palace, in Rue Ducale 1. Participation to the banquet dinner is optional and subject to registration. The tickets for the banquet are available at the cost of €65,00/person. Please indicate your participation during your online registration process. Non registered participants will be asked for a contribution of €135,00.
