Abstract Submission

All participants are invited to submit abstracts of scientific communications for poster presentation. Submitted abstracts will be peer-reviewed for their acceptance by the Organising Committee.

Please note that your registration is required to access abstract submission, but payment is not mandatory at this stage. Accepted summaries will however only be published in the book of abstracts of the symposium, after full payment of the registration fee.

You will always receive an acknowledgement of your abstract submission. If you do not receive anything, please call us on +32 10 45 47 77 or send us an email to , to make sure we have received your abstract.

Deadline for abstract submission: May 15, 2013

Notification on acceptance of the abstract will be emailed within one month after the submission deadline.


Poster Guidelines

Poster size is A0 - nominally 90 cm wide and 120 cm high, in portrait format (no landscape). A poster number will be assigned to each abstract and will be announced to the first author, along with the day of presentation.

Poster presenters are responsible for setting up and removing the posters.


Poster Sessions

Poster session 1: Posters with even numbers can be installed on Wednesday, between 10:00 and 18:00 and
will be presented:
-  on Thursday during the morning coffee break (10:15-10:45)
-  on Thursday during the lunch (12:15-14:15)

All posters with even numbers should be dismounted during the afternoon coffee break on Thursday (16:30 – 17:00).

Poster session 2: Posters with odd numbers can be installed on Thursday after the afternoon coffee break (as from 17:00) and on Friday morning and will be presented:
- On Friday during the morning coffee break (10:00 – 10:30)
- On Friday during lunch (12:35 – 14:05)
