BPG 2006 - Annual Meeting of the Belgian Polymer Group
Oostende, Belgium - May 18-19, 2006

Following the success of the previous Annual Meetings of the Belgian Polymer Group, the Polymer Chemistry Research Group of the Department of Organic Chemistry at UGent and the Belgian Polymer Group are preparing, for the 18th and 19th of May 2006, a two-day conference on : “Recent Advances in Polymer Science”.

This year's conference will take place at the "De Kinkhoorn", Oostende and the accommodation will be arranged at the Ravelingen hotel which is situated next to the conference center with direct indoor connections.

This conference will focus on the most recent advances achieved in polymer synthesis and design of macromolecular/supramolecular architectures, physico-chemical properties of polymeric materials, methods for polymer characterization and applications of polymeric materials.

The objective of the Belgian Polymer Group (BPG) is to promote contacts between key-players in the field of polymer science: industrials and academics. Moreover, this 2006 Annual Meeting is an excellent opportunity for students to present their work in polymer science.
